Our Little Yellow Notes

In our ever increasingly valiant efforts to better your Joe's experience, we now offer you tiny little yellow notes that describe the appearance, aromatics, flavors, and food pairings with many of our wines. We will slowly add them throughout the store but accuracy & attention to each wine is necessary so it is slow going. Albarino from Napa? What???

Ok, seriously...we are not kidding. There really is albarino growing in Napa & its pretty damn good too! We just tasted Hendry Albarino 2007 Napa Valley $20.99. It's crisp, driven with peach flavors & notes of nectarine. The acidity is bright, crisp & fresh with a supple texture & mouthwatering finish. Buy it.
